About
Real intelligence, in the calculator you already trust.
The most-used device in every classroom is also the least capable thing in your backpack. DojoCalc fixes that, without changing a single thing on the outside.
Where it started
A graphing calculator is the one computer allowed on every desk, in every exam room, in every backpack, and it hasn't meaningfully changed in twenty years. We kept staring at that gap: a trusted, universal device that still can't answer a question.
So we rebuilt the inside. DojoCalc takes a genuine TI-84 Plus CE and fits a custom board behind the original shell (an ESP32 brain, Wi-Fi, and a small camera), then teaches it to talk to the same AI models you'd use in a browser. The keypad still graphs and solves like always. Ask it something only AI can answer, and it answers.
Built like a product, not a mod
This isn't a wire taped to a battery. The PCB is designed to drop into the existing chassis, the camera hides where the hardware already has a gap, and the on-screen app is its own clean interface: an animated boot, a real menu, answers typeset like a textbook. You can see the hardware breakdown on the home page.
What we believe
Three things we won't compromise on.
- You own it outright
- One purchase, no subscription. Credits are included, and when they run out you bring your own API key, for free. We don't want a meter running on your homework.
- Your work stays yours
- Questions are brokered through our servers to the AI and handed straight back. We don't sell them, and we don't build a profile out of what you ask.
- It has to look stock
- The disguise is the product. Same case, same keys, same boot screen. If anyone could tell it apart from an ordinary TI-84, we got it wrong.
